Pat Carlucci's Witchie Boo!

How's everyone out in the Blog-O-sphere?

Just a quick hit 'n run this time around as I've got more work to get too and not as much digital daydreaming time as I would like.

This is the lovely Witchie Boo and her psycho broom Inferno. Now in most of the pics I've seen of Boo she's usually giving old 'Ferno what for so I thought that turnabout would be fair play for this piece.

Witchie Boo and Inferno are both creations of the insanely talented and insane Pat "I'm not insane, dammit!" Carlucci. For more info on him, his creations, and his art please visit him over on deviantART! http://patcarlucci.deviantart.com/

I'm blushing like a rose over here because I'm an idiot and Pat is the nicest guy in the world for not hating me for my mistakes!

Guns don't kill people...

Hope everyone is having fun gearing up for SDCC this year! I couldn't make it out there :( but that just means that I'm getting ready to rock the show down in Arlington Texas.

Wizard World Texas is a great little show that I try to attend as much as I can. Been going since it's second year of inception and it's a blast everytime. The only show floor that I know of that let's you walk around with a bottle of brew! Going to try and score a spot in Artist Alley and if that pans out you'll see a few prints from me along with (fingers crossed I get them done in time!) my first ever artbook and another sketchbook!!!

Here's a peek at the roughs for one of the prints I'll have and if you're going I hope to see you there!

SKADOOSH!!!

A Kat, a snake, and a guy with big dreams.

It's been raining steadily for two days now and I'm lovin' every minute of it. I don't see how people get depressed when it rains. It seems to clear my head, the scent is wonderful and it seems to cleanse the world too.

Now windy days...that's depressing. When the air outside your window is wailing that's a sad, sad sound.

Here's some more sketchy stuff for your perusal because honestly that's why any of us artists post anything online.

First up is a quick sketch for a piece I hope to finish soon. This is Kat and you can find out more about her by visiting her charming owner over at http://stigmartyr762.deviantart.com/!

Cait on deviantART posted, "I wish some hot man pixies got into my stuff lol" so I drew this up to get used to the idea. I figure what's good for the goose and all that.

By the way...what the heck is a gander? Google here I come.

Lastly we've got a peek at a certain Cobra agent of the female persuasion. I didn't like this piece at all actually. Something is off with her face and hair but I can't put my finger on it. I'm going to have to start this one over entirely from scratch I think.

Mixed bag 'o goodies...

Got me a bag of mini-Chick-0-Sticks...these things are SO addicting it's not even funny.
My teeth feel like they've been chewing yummy, sweet concrete chunks for hours.

Yeah, Chick-0-Sticks.

Anywho, here's some sketch stuff for a few of the quick pieces I posted up on my deviantART page:

First up is a shot of Marvel's The Thing and Kitty Pride of the X-Men sharing a moment.

I'm holding a small sketch jam for this week on deviantART and the topic is the Metal Gear universe. I opted for just a nice quick brush sketch of Snake but here was my first attempt. Natasha Romanenko (one of the lesser drawn MGS girls!) taking some time off from the cold to catch some rays and work on her tan. Looks like she's attracted some attention "!"

One of my buddies asked me to draw a, and I quote "big ASS reptile!" so here it is in all it's assy glory!!!

Finally here's a peek at a pin-up of Rayne from the awesome game and comics (published by Digital Webbing!) BloodRayne.
